Effectiveness of Distance Education in Light of the Corona Pandemic from the viewpoint of the rural youth at Al-Azhar University in Assiut

Abstract

This research aims to identifying the effectiveness of distance education in light of the Corona pandemic from the viewpoint of rural university youth, by identifying the level of application of the distance education system from the viewpoint of rural university youth in the research area, and identifying their level of satisfaction with this system, the vision of the respondents from rural university youth regarding the effectiveness of distance education, the obstacles that limit the effectiveness of distance education, and most important proposals to increase the effectiveness of distance education from their point of view, and determining the relationship between the independent variables studied for the respondents and their level of satisfaction with the effectiveness of distance education. The results showed that there are many obstacles that limit the effectiveness of education. Remotely, foremost of which is the high cost of permanently subscribing to the Internet, followed by the difficulty of learning some applied materials in distance education, followed by the increased costs of following the distance education system in terms of purchasing devices and connecting to the Internet, while the results came to a set of proposals To increase the effectiveness of distance education, including the need to continuously develop the distance education system to keep pace with modern technological developments and to benefit from the experiences of other countries, followed by the need to Hussein the infrastructure that serves the process of applying the distance education system.
